Customers
Customers are the businesses you serve. Every asset, service agreement, and service request belongs to a customer.
Viewing Customers
The Customers page shows all your customers in a searchable list. Click any customer name to view their details, including:
- Contact information
- Service address with a link to Google Maps
- Business hours
- All assets at their location
- Active service agreements
- Service history
Adding a Customer
Click the Add Customer button to open the customer form. Required fields:
- Name — The company or business name
Optional fields help you serve them better:
- Service Address — Where you send technicians (address, city, state, ZIP)
- Billing Address — Where invoices go (if different from service address)
- Business Hours — When they're open (defaults to your own hours if not set)
- Notes — Internal notes visible only to your team
Tip: Use the notes field for gate codes, parking instructions, contact preferences, or anything your technicians need to know.
Editing a Customer
Click the customer's name in the list to open the edit form. Make your changes and save.
Deleting a Customer
Customers can be deleted from the edit form. This action requires confirmation.
Warning: Deleting a customer also removes all their assets, service agreements, and service history. This cannot be undone.
Business Hours
Each customer can have their own business hours, which override your defaults. This is useful for:
- Customers with unusual schedules
- 24/7 operations
- Seasonal hour changes
If a customer doesn't have business hours set, Saite uses your default hours.
Best Practices
- Keep addresses current — Accurate addresses mean accurate driving directions
- Use notes liberally — Document anything that helps your team
